One of my first CDs was “Read my Lips” by Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Despite having one or two songs that made it to some hit lists (remember “Murder on the Dancefloor”?) she completely disappeared after 2001. And eventually, I totally forgot all about her.

Until today. Somehow I stumbled upon her YouTube page and found myself listening to her new music. It’s as if she hasn’t aged a bit. I must say I like her new music, especially “Young Blood”. “The Deer & the Wolf” and “Runaway Daydreamer” are pretty good as well. I also think it’s great that she’s one of the few artists out there that still writes her own songs. Anyway, take a listen and judge for yourself.
