https://instagram.com/barbiestyle is the instagram page of the most famous doll of them all: Barbie, less known as Barbara Millicent Roberts. Turns out she has a “life”. And it’s a good one. Think “successful model/fashionista” mixed with a hint of dreams and a perfect love life. If her face wasn’t perfect enough, enjoy the endless torture of admitting a plastic doll is doing everything you want to do, and she ain’t even real. What is she doing exactly? Oh, nothing much, just visiting Fashion Week, doing photo shoots, traveling the globe, trying on the latest (and expensive) clothes, meeting up with friends.. Getting to know other “famous” people. Pretty much everything you want to do. (It’s okay, just admit it).

Then, let us think about the fact that this is someone’s job. Someone is getting paid to dress Barbie up, make seemingly real professional photographs of her, and update her feed all day long. That person deserves a huge paycheck. Pretty sure I’d want to throw her in some garbage can after an estimated 9 days, hating life and myself. If this is your job, I’m pretty sure you don’t even have a life. You’re giving yours to Barbie. How ironic.
